Women’s Circle Community Guidelines
Respect for Everyone
All participants should treat one another with kindness and respect. Different perspectives and life experiences are welcome.
Confidentiality
What is shared in the group should remain within the group. Personal stories and experiences discussed during sessions should not be shared outside of the group.
No Judgment Zone
Participants are encouraged to listen with empathy and understanding. This space is intended to be supportive, not critical.
Share When You Feel Comfortable
Participants are welcome to share their thoughts and experiences but are never required to speak if they prefer to listen.
Allow Everyone the Opportunity to Speak
Please be mindful of time and allow space for others to share their thoughts and experiences.
Respectful Communication
Participants should avoid interrupting others and should allow each person the opportunity to finish speaking.
No Giving Unsolicited Advice
Participants are encouraged to share their experiences rather than telling others what they should do. Advice should only be offered if someone asks for it.
Respect Different Life Choices
Women in the group may come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. Participants are asked to respect differences and avoid debates or arguments.
Privacy and Boundaries
Participants should respect personal boundaries. No one should feel pressured to share more than they are comfortable sharing.
Discussion Focus
This group is a space for support and empowerment. Members are welcome to share how life and current events are affecting them personally. However, the group is not intended for political debates or discussions aimed at persuading others about religious or political beliefs.
Respect for Different Beliefs
Participants may reference their personal beliefs or faith when sharing their experiences. However, the group is not intended to be a religious service or place of worship. The group should remain welcoming and respectful to women of all belief systems, including different religions or no religious beliefs. Participants should avoid criticizing, dismissing, or tearing down the beliefs or non-beliefs of others.
Personal Responsibility
This group is intended for support and empowerment. It does not replace professional counseling, therapy, or medical advice.
